Mr. Hoette was an Extension Agronomist for the University of Missouri from 1975 thru 2006. He has B.S.-Agronomy and M.S.- Soil Fertility degrees from the University of Missouri at Columbia.
He is a nationally Certified Professional Agronomist (ARCPACS #00618 – a Federation of Certifying Boards in Agriculture, Biology, Earth and Environmental Sciences). He is also a certified Natural Resources Conservation Service - USDA Technical Service Provider (TSP-06-5324).
He has been involved in many research and demonstration activities. They include: crop responses to micronutrients, analyzing water for various contaminants, composting animal and municipal wastes, no-till crop production systems, solid waste management and precision farming systems. He has been a Soil and Water Conservation District and Solid Waste Management District representative in addition to other state organizations.
Through HFL Consulting LLC he has provided plant and soil damage investigation. He has provided this for crop production and construction projects. He has also provided expert testimony involving revegetation for construction sites, water drainage impact on crop production, soil drainage, management practices involving plant growth and other projects.
